Very interesting, a good start to find a solution as to reason(s) why this happens at times? We even had a 2560 Gienger do this last season on one side of the main vine? Other plants in patch were fine. Was it that precise location?

Yeah the plants can get lazy like a teenager hitting the snooze button too many times. The plant or soil biology needs to wake up. We have caffeine, they have... well, its a discussion.

Alright, I am going to give this try. I'll keep things updated on my diary and compare two plants, one with a cut main, the other without, to see how things go
