Hi,
I just received seeds of a gourd, called Amphora.
Two questions:
1/ When I plant the seeds inside, how much time aproximately I have to do that before the last possible frost date?
2/ Do I have to "prepare" the seeds before seeding? Sandpaper the sides or soaking them in water or...?
Here are 2 pics: 1 of the seeds and 1 of the plant they should become.

Thanks in advance for your answers!!

Basically same as bushel gourd. Look at seed starting instructions there.

Thanks irischap for your quick reaction!!
Probably my fault but I can't find any explicetely seed instructions on bushel gourds.
I looked at the bushel gourd growing forum. Lots of very interesting information but not really a seed instructions page...

Soak 6-8 hrs, germinate at 90°, in a moist but not wet seed starting mix. 5-10 days they should break the surface. Some growers clip the ears.
