That clip was like a trailer for Mission Impossible. They did a great job of capturing the Chris's enthusiasm and passion for growing giant pumpkins.

Thanks guys! it was suppose to be a 5 minute little pumpkin video almost 2 years ago and has morphed into this monster of filming everything! Its now going to be what us growers do step by step 12 months out of the year. From auction time, getting weigh off sites, picking seeds and looking into genetics all winter, bubbles coming in and going out, soil testing, tissue testing, all the nutrients we use, disease programs for us guys that deal with disease then starting at the beginning of the year with seed selection, how we germinate, planting out into the patch, getting that main vine tip down, vine maintenance, pollination, positioning the pumpkins as they start to grow and everything else we do as the year progresses! GPC convention and the fun we have there, lifting our pumpkins out of the patch, numerous weigh off sites, I spent 3 days at Steve Daleats's house and a look into his incredible pumpkin patch ( to see all those 2000 pound pumpkins in one patch is a site to see ), Steve D. winning half moon bay, the regatta pumpkin boat races we do,,,,,, and most important the friendships we build along the way and the fun we have all season long! We've gone this far so why not pull it into 2019!! lol 2019 is already here and plants go in the ground in the next 10 to 11 weeks! The editing the way my buddy edits is going to be insane so wish us luck and we're doing our best to shine a bright light on what we do as a community and how much fun we have doing it! Growing is tough enough by itself but trying to film every detail while trying your best with your plants is not easy! Wish us luck and we plan to have the final film out by the end of the season!!! Thanks for all the support, emails, text, calls and advice as this adventure continues!! We just aired the trailer 19 hours ago and already have 3000 views! Incredible incredible support!:)
Many thanks to all,
Chris Dunn

Chris I can't wait to see the whole thing! Knowing your enthusiasm and how you are so attentive to every little detail and the obsessive nature to grow bigger that we all share, this will be a great documentary. I hope you get that 2000 pounder this season to put an exclamation point on the end of the video.

Bill Foss, we need to find someone up near that kid that loves to grow? He's not in the Brentwood in Los Angeles but the one up by the Napa and Santa Rosa guys. Do you have any ideas, email me.
Anytime Carla, that's what we're suppose to do,, help others!;)
Gourdzilla,,, not sure about 2000 down here but I know the both of us will be trying Vince! Jim will probably be the one to get it!!
