7 deer + two weeks = -2000 pounds of pumpkin (combined weight between the two)

LOVED the the video. Now that they have developed a taste for your pumpkins I'll bet they can't wait for dessert next growing season. Hope you have adequate deer protection.

Bad idea to let 'em know how good the 'kins are. I agree with woods....hope you have serious deer protection for next year.

I've been growing giant pumpkins for 4 years, and every year they eat them all. 8,722.3 pounds to date. I've never once had a problem with deer during the growing season because I've got a tall fence all around my backyard with locked gates - however, if I didn't have a tall fence I'd sure be in trouble...
