Pumpkin Growers-

Over the course of this most recent season, I had the opportunity to work 1:1 with a great number of folks who sought to improve their soil fertility with the help of the Giant Pumpkin Grower's Guide to Interpreting Soil Tests & Managing Fertility.

I am posting here with two follow up questions for those who put this resource to work:

1. How many of you were able to make meaningful improvements in your soil fertility and/or set personal bests in your patches?

2. Is there an opportunity to improve the soil fertility guide, either by covering topics overlooked, expanding on existing topics, etc?

I appreciate your input and look forward to improving this tool.

1. Loved the guide: Feel like it helped out big time, set a personal best and Kansas record 1176 pounds. (I have a soil sample sent off right now and I'll be using your guide again)
2. I think we could make an online tool which would be very easy to use. Take the sheet we get back from our soil test we could enter in our number (these numbers http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=287464) and then translate it into suggestions to make on a 1000 square feet patch. (not sure how to do this but smart people could figure it out!)
