Thank you all for the congratulations! It was a dream season I didn’t see coming and one I hope all growers have the opportunity to experience at least once.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to all growers around the world, wether your a good friend, a grower I have just met or one I hope to meet in the future. Having something special growing in your garden is awesome, but I look at what being involved in this hobby has given myself and my family, the places this hobby has taken us that we never would have been and the friendships that we have that never would have been made had I not grown a pumpkin and I realize, growing pumpkins is so much more than one special season. So......a huge congratulations to everyone who planted a seed this year. I hope your special season is just around the corner..

If I have figured correctly Steve also now holds the record for the highest total between 3 different fruit at 2796, beating Mathias's record total of 2783.6 from 2016! Amazing!!

We've been filming a documentary over the last 18 months on what us growers do 12 months out of the year. We spent some time in the Daletas patch a week before he started cutting pumpkins off for weigh offs.
So look out for it this winter and get a view of the giants in Steve's amazing patch! By far one of the most amazing pumpkin patches I have ever seen!
To see that many pumpkins at that size in one patch was truly amazing!

I think Steve also broke a record for not blowing a single pumpkin this season!!! The cows weren't so happy though! lol

Oh no, he did blow 1 up! Well actually Susie did!!!!lol People ask me if I'm tired of finishing second, well it's usually to Steve so no I don't mind. He's a really good friend and a great competitor. I feel privileged to have witnessed the weighing of all of Steve's pumpkins this year, they were truly a sight to behold! Can't wait to celebrate Steve in Green Bay! Oh, by the way Eddie, I got all 12 of your SABE meant for Steve and promptly ran over all of them in the driveway (oops!)
