Subject:  How long does pumpkin stay fresh

Picked my pumpkin as the weather been so wet and damp and no doubt it could rot it but can you tell me how long does eating pumpkin stay fresh as some say 2 days other vary and i am sure this site would know thanks tiggs

By eating pumpkin you mean sugar pumpkin? The good winter squash or pumpkin varieties last a long time and are optimal at 2-3 months of storage I believe.

They keep very well. They can be stored at 55-60 degrees and kept all winter. Too help them keep, wash them down with warm soap and water to remove any disease organisms.

Hi thanks for reply no not sugar pumpkin but
I planted the" Jaune Gros de Pars"  which i understand is also called winter squash tiggs
