Anyone who has pumpkins or squash over 2,000 pounds should seriously consider keeping a cutting alive for breeding purposes. I will be able to take on 4 propagations if anyone wishes to work with me on keeping theirs going during the winter. If your a grower who has a huge fruit and hasn't announced it to the world yet and want to keep it quiet, consider keeping a shoot or two alive during the coming frost killing cold. The cutting can be overnight shipped to me and I can get it revived and growing. if your a grower who thinks you have a plant worth keeping, let me know via my pumpkin email @ mindsnare500@gmail.com and maybe we can keep you amazing plant alive for breeding purposes. The plant that grew the 2009 Wallace was kept and that grew the 282 Scherber ... which is in the world record squash 2118 genetic... so potential exists by doing this over the winter.

I think this is a fantastic idea. Not sure why more don't do it.

That 2528 plant sure would be worth cloning if it’s not too late
