Congratulations go out to Tom Trombley of Standish, Michigan for his first place 1,763 pound pumpkin weighed last Saturday at Andy T's. He also exhibited: a 273# bushel gourd (State Record), 5.1# tomato, 114" long gourd and 80# field pumpkin. He lost a 173 pound field pumpkin a few weeks back.

Joe Kurilich of Comstock Park weighed an impressive 2016 pound DMG pumpkin. It had a small soft spot underneath. Thanks for still bringing it Joe!

Thanks for the shout-out Joe, it was exciting seeing it go that heavy, and taking the top spot was totally unexpected icing on the cake. You did a great job working the mic once again, and I think you deserve plenty of credit with getting the new growers in Michigan interested. I’m sorry you lost many of your nice ones as well, but keep making those great crosses and I’ll be happy to keep growing them!
