Ok so for of all this will fit under general discussion if I can get help to figure this out

If I take a trail camera and set it to take a picture every hour of every day, can I somehow link it to an App or the internet etc so other people can see the pictures and once on the app etc I'd like to be able to have the pictures saved for later

Is something like this possible and if so, then how do I go about setting this up
Thanks

I wish I could help you Eddy! I wanted this done and have had a friend set up 4 waterproof cameras 18 months ago in the greenhouse,,, they've been taking pictures for the full 18 months every single day. Cover crop mid winter we were doing every 6 hours and as things progressed during the peak of grow time we had them take a picture every minute!
At some point this winter he'll have all the editing of this completed!
He had most of the cameras hooked up to his phone so he could check them at anytime. I'm sure there's a tech guy out there, ( Andy Wolf ) lol that can make this happen for you.:)
My buddy hasn't shown me much but what he has shown me is really, really cool!

Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I have seen outdoor sports shows, namely hunting shows, which have hunters real-time viewing trail cams on their PCs. So yes, this is possible, but someone else will have to tell you how.

real time trail cam would be even better. Cool a place to start for that direction. Thanks So Cal and yes ANDY lol

Actually, it's probably a question for someone younger than me, haha.

But - if you have just a regular trail cam taking a picture at set intervals, I think there are free online sites where you can dump the album and it will convert it to a .gif, and there's moviemaker options too.

Ken D had a pretty good patch cam setup, maybe he'll chime in.

I have a nest outdoor camera in my screenhouse, nice to check in on them while iam at work for 14 hrs a day. It sends pictures to my email if it notices movement. Had a fox looking in camera from up above one night

I'll take a picture of the ones we have in the greenhouse. In the 300.00 range, great picture and long, long battery life.

Got this for around 100$ on amazon. There's an app you can download (Android or iOS) and you can watch a live stream of your patch. You can share the password and username so other people can watch the live stream too. As well, you can set it up so if it detects any motion, It will send you an email with the photo. (also has night vision - but not the best)

And you can also record the footage to the device with an SD card and take a photo from the app. It's not designed for outdoors, but just keep it covered and you should be good. Here's a link to it:

Do you have internet access in your greenhouse? I'm setting up a camera that connects to a live feed in my greenhouse but it requires internet.

I have it close enough that I could use a booster if needed.

I setup a twitch.tv account and i can stream to it 24/7 if i want it really works great (I'm not sure if this would be the best place to stream but it is free)
