Last night I got half an inch of slush/snow in Winnipeg - and one of my plants lost all the leaves, and my 2nd plant lost 1/3 of its leaves (part of it is under a greenhouse).

There are 13 days until the weigh-off. Should I just let the dead leaves be, or cut them off the vines? I think I heard the plant will still try to put energy into the dead leaves or something. thanks
