That thing is unbelievable. Looks as tall as a car. Gotta be careful going through any underpasses on the way to the weigh-off! Haha, keep it going gene.

The 845 Bobier was a 723 Bobier remake and that worked pretty well too

gene is a perfect example of paying ones dues. he failed many times before getting to this point but to his credit kept on working at it.
we are all proud of gene and all he has done to promote the hobby and volunteer his help to several pumpkin clubs in new england.
the hobby needs more like gene

I second what Pap said and will add more! Gene besides being a hard worker and never giving up in this tuff Hobbie we are involved in always looks out for his fellow growers! When I had my knee replaced in January of this year he called me a few times to see how I was doing and to cheer me on and wanted to know if I needed anything. Compassion rings loud in his personality and he will be the first to shake your hand at a weighoff whether you had a heavier fruit or not. I am rooting for you my friend to set a new State Record as well as a new North American Record and who knows what else! You deserve the best my friend GOODLUCK to you and may all your wishes for this season come true, I am in your corner!!!

Wow ! Not sure what to say after reading that . Pap and Gary you make me proud to call you Friends! Thank you for the kind words. I just love this hobby and all that comes with it. Especially the relationships with fellow growers that understand our crazy hobby. I love the challenge and like most growers have had a lot of failed seasons but that's what keeps me coming back each season. So far I have a special Pumpkin going but have to make it down the home stretch. I will do my best and with a little luck and some sleepless nights who knows? Kürbisfreak the side to side is 138 inches as of yesterday.
