I used to work in a pig barn. After washing and disinfecting a room. We would fumigate with a little machine with a chemical in it for about an hour. This machine would throw out a very fine mist. After an hour everything would be lightly wet to the touch. Would a gadget like this work for foliar feeding, mildew prevention or bug prevention. Likely along with an oscillating fan.

a mister of a fogger? many foggers heat the chemical so they have to be designed for that

Hmmm... am thinking it is a fogger. Seems similar to what people use for a vapourizer for babys except at a much higher volume.

I could get it for free as they are not used anymore.

I used a propane fired mosquito fogger when I saw adult SVB. Don't know how well it worked, but my SVB infestation is low and on only one plant.
