I was looking for a fertilizer low in nitrogen and high in phosphorus/phosphate. I was just curious what fertilizers you guys use and if any of them can be purchased at a local hardware store. Thanks

Not sure on quality, but all the hardware stores around here sell Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10 for 15 bucks

I'm growing my melons this season on 'Hawaiian Bud' 5-50-17 1TSP/gal w/ a touch of molasses. You can see the container in the July 6th post in my diary. I read up this past winter on different fruits and their demand of Phosphorus through out the growing process. Don't know how it does for kins so enter at your own risk

Triple super phosphate is 0-45-0, inexpensive and easy to find.
