Just curious what shapes of Atlantic Giants tend to go heavy.
Round tall ones? long short ones? Those with the blossom ends pointing down? Smooth skinned ones? Rough, netting skinned ones? ...

I like the long low pumpkins for weight.

Well fed ones go heavy. Shape doesn’t made a difference.

All different. Those big blocky ones that have it all are pretty much a sure bet. If you grow long enough surprises are what can make it fun.

I think being left on the vine a long time with good nutrition helps any pumpkin although some are genetically thicker. The rough netting indicates it was past day 50 or so and still getting thicker. Mathematically I think the turtle shell ones have an advantage.

Actually it is likely to opposite. Ones with outies exaggerate measurements. So weigh less then estimate.
