I have a pumpkin that has a little black fuzzy mold and I was wondering if bleach would be safe to remove the mold? Pumpkin still has a hard shell and is still growing, it has a hot spot from the sun which left a mark on the shell.

I’d try peroxide first...and I’m leaning toward definitely not straight bleach...

Just Bill, do you just pour it on then or dab with a sponge?

You can use 91 percent rubbing alcohol to clean up spots. Never used bleach.
