Subject: one other way to tell if a pumpkin did not set

I noticed something else other than the dull appearance which indicates they did not set. The stigma (blossom button) will not be firm. It will be a little bit rubbery. Just thought you all would like to know one more quirky thing about pumpkins... And... uh... obviously I spend too much time in the patch.
