Hi i'm Phil. I was wanting to know what is the best way to grow a cinderella pumpkin. Blossom down. I was thinking to grow on a pallet with a hole cut in the center. Then take a swimming pool noodle bent in a circle to protect kin from pallet. I figure the hole in pallet will hold blossom off the ground and still get air. I know i need to prop the vine up to keep at top of kin. I dont know what to use to prop it up. Any suggestions on growing this way would be great . Thanks Phil

Set the pumpkin in a huge bed of sand. You need to keep the weight off the blossum. Have lots of slack in the vine as you will need it. Search 673.5 in my 2017 diary

Go to the diary page. You will see a small window that says 2018 season with a drop down menu. Drop down the season you are interested in and scroll through the diaries.

I wish I had some great ideas you can check my diary for some mediocre ideas also tecuod aniad has one going I've had good results tying the vines up with baling twine and a couple posts. All I can say about drilling a hole is this: Dont make a mouse bed and breakfast under your pumpkin...
