Yes: what does "YVD" mean?
Also, how overall is Wisconsin doing this year RE: Pumpkin Growing? has the weather been a problem?

Weather in WI got really hot earlier than normal. Was the upper 80's-90's for the first two weeks of July. If you didn't get a June pollination, it was a rough stretch to start July to pollinate. Rain has been hit or miss, my area is crazy dry right now. I've had a little less than an inch of rain the last month with most temps near or over 90. My parents live 20 miles from me and had 3.2 inches in the same time. Just seems like rain goes all around me right now. Storms around today, but nothing significant yet. It would take 2+ inches to do any good right now.
I'll post some pics later today when I go out to patch, it's burning up my corn and sunflowers. Pumpkins handled it a little better, but starting to burn now.

It should be called "funky yellow leaf decline". The vine doesn't change color.

With the yvd we had this year I did notice that the vines that had noticeable yvd did change to a dull yellow color.

At this time no cure for YVD. Prevent and kill squash bugs at all costs. Don't let any juveniles survive. My recommendation is to BLAST the affected plant with a heavy dose of your favorite insecticide that works on squash bugs then pull it when it's safe to enter. Don't want any infected bugs getting away.

Think I did something stupid? I notice squash bugs on one of my vines and accidentally sprayed to much insecticide on said vine - later the vine was dead! Did I kill it? Hoepfner
I have another kin that is 3 weeks old..pollinated said kin July 5th...kine does not seem to be growing...is that normal and when do you think it may start to increase in size?

Somewhere between day 5-10 they should start to noticeably grow. No growth at 3 weeks is an issue. It’s surprising it hasn’t fallen off by now if it was going to abort. Is the pumpkin still firm, and the skin shiney?

Hoepfner pictures really help without them we are just guessing at what might be the cause of your issues. If you have YVD I'm sorry but your plant is done.
Insecticide and then a a dead vine...well more than likely it was not the insecticide that killed it.
