Newbie here, my pumpkin is 9 DAP and has 16" circumference. Is this small, average, large for 9 DAP?

I agree & I'd say on low side of normal... is it a long and narrow or round and you are measuring its waist or the OTT way...from the stem to the blossom and back up to the stem?

The fruit is nearly perfectly round, a little oblong. I measured wrong and measured around the middle vertically instead of stem to butt. I am sure it is more than 16" if measured horizontally.

My pumpkin is on 9 dap and only 13 inch circumference. Could the reason why it’s so small compared to normal pumpkins on dap 9 or 10 be because all my vines are growing almost a foot a day and taking away the nutrients?

First timer, 8 dap 20" cc here. Plant is around 150 sq ft and I have another on a secondary 2 days younger. Abomb, my main slowed drastically since I set.

My plant has actually started growing faster since I set and went from around 100 sq ft to more than 240 sq ft. I’m thinking that this isn’t bad because I do need more plant so I. Thinking I will terminate everything at day 20 except for the main. Does that sound right?

come back in a few weeks and we surely will have a answer. day 20-30 the personalty of the pumpkin starts to show, day 25+ you can start get a little idea of the weight it will put on.
