Does any body else have the problem with rot on the first secondary behind the pumpkin where it meets the main vine. I am battling a spot on all three pumpkins at that spot and it’s hard to stop I clean out all rot then apply peroxide, sulfur and fan but that silicone ooze comes back fast and starts the rot over again. Any advice?

So if it at the leaf node it's because of the pressure in the vine it has to go somewhere, if it was just one spot I'd say you might have an svb in the vine and the leakage is from the entry location but I believe it's just built up pressure I've had it before, unbury your main vine and sulfur the heck out of it! If you can put fans directed down the main vine to help with good air flow

Your plants will steadily decline but you can keep rot at bay and get a fruit to the scales if you take care of the vine

It almost looks like the secondary split at the base unless when you scraped out the rot you made that shape, either way your best friend right now is a fan get it on the wound and try not watering in that spot for awhile.

Try not using hydrogen peroxide, clean out all brown discoloration, apply thin layer if sulfur powder and keep 100% dry. Do not cover with something that will shade it. You want sunlight on it. And a fan as well. See if that makes a difference. Also check over mains really good to make sure there are no other issues.
