http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=294174 I’m not sure what’s going on with this kin. Is it worth keeping? Ive culled one already and pollinated another this morning times running out. This thing looks weird though. Developing ribs already? It’s 14 DAP CC 46 EE 33 S-SS 28.5 = 107.5

That's not what you want to see.I'd do a circumference daily for a while to gage if its acting normal. And keep pollinating more. It may be partially set and starting to abort or the plant just has fruit with the wrong traits.

This one is weird, it consistently puts on inches. 13 July it was 7” long, 15 July 9” long, 17 July 12” long, 19 July 16” long, today 18”. 13 July circumference 15.5” today 36.75 . I don’t this things weird. I’ll post another one from different view. I think the whole thing is solid, very heavy.

Hey Hobbit, it was great meeting you at Convention. Your new patch looks awesome, hope the buildings are coming along nicely.
Same thing happened to all the fruit on my 1985 Miller this year, they abort not long after looking like yours do. Hope I’m wrong, but that is what happens to me.
