I have a big fish pond. Once a week I clean out a bunch of algae. is there value for this in the patch or compost. I am thinking for next year.

Yes it should make good compost. Mix in some ash or lime or leaves or whatever else. Try to get it applied and decomposed ahead of any soil testing. Might not be exactly the same as kelp but it should be very good nevertheless.

I assume high in nitrogen being that is what it lives on in the pond??
