So I pollinated a squash this morning and placed ice pack near it and covered it with a foam cooler. Swapped ice pack midway through the day. Checked this evening and still a good chunk of ice left so cooler is doing it’s job. Anyways, how long should I keep up with the ice and cooler? Low to mid 90’s expected tomorrow with high humidity. I also have more pollinations coming up and might need the cooler. Thanks

I have only ever used the cooler for one day with good results.

I just used cooler/ice last week. I just had the cooler covering it for two days. I took the cooler off in the evening when temps got down to mid 80"s. It set- we had 98 and 105 those two days.Keep the plant well watered.

think of it this way---if you suddenly had more than one pollination in one day, you'd have to have at least two coolers/ice packs; you need milk and cottage cheese anyway - and the store is open 24 hrs...then, you can use those coolerS for that picnic coming up! what are they, $1.89 with a lid? lol---eg ps--not that i know for sure, but i'd have to say 72 hours for the pollination process to really be done with.
