I didn't keep track last year, but I bet I was at least close. Very well could have beat that record. Thankfully, I have only seen 1 this year, it didn't last long.

Last year it would be like this on each plant. NOT EXAGERATING! And I was spraying. Found out a neighbor for years has been growing squash and pumpkins for farmers markets (and squash bugs for me) without spraying. Last year YVD cut deeply into his production. He started spraying this year and it's made a tremendous difference.

I killed 15 just this morning with a Rambo knife during a F5 tornado, no big whoop.

There is a story of a Colorado Grower whom captures the SbugZ, pulls their legs off, and leaves them in a pile so to attract more SBugs to become legless bugs of stink.....

We got a guy here who goes 13th century on them that beheads them, cuts each limb off and mounts the parts with 4lb fishing line on the patch borders as a warning to other Squash bugs.
