Anyone have any tips or advice? Starting to get a bit behind on vine burrying. Had 5 days of cloudy and rainy weather. Not a fan of using wet muddy soil but gotta do what you gotta do.

Next time keep some dry dirt covered and use it to burry your vines.

whats wrong with wet dirt? Doesn't the moisture help the roots? The first thing I do when I bury is water it.

I've got a patent pending soil less burying product still in the R&D phase that will eliminate the need for soil. Unfortunatly it wont help with the compaction of the wet soil getting to the vines.

Talked to Laura Lee Zyweic since I know she had this issue the year she grew her 2109. She suggested raking the spoil to help prevent crusting and gettingore air to it to dry faster.

I've wondered it wet newspaper would work instead of soil, this came to mind after getting enough rain that it washed the soil off I had just used

You haven't had to cover any dirt where I'm at. Dry is dry!
