I hate walking in amongst my plants to spray each and every leaf, but I will do it to ensure good coverage, top and bottom. Last year I used a series of wand extensions to reach into the patch, but the connections are weak spots and it leads to issues with leaks. Blower sprayers are a little up there in price for my preference, but I'm open to suggestions and ideas. Thanks in advance.

I know I comment on everything but bear with me. Did Willemijns spray under the leaves? If not then why do so it seems like a lot of extra work.

Also, to reply to your first comment. I don't know if he sprays under his leaves. I also don't know if he has the same pest/disease pressure that I do in Germany.

I mean to say I don't know if he has same pests/diseases in Germany as I do in PA.

I use the Stihl SR 450 and love it but it can get heavy when full of liquid. The SR 200 came out after i bought mine and I would purchase the 200 if I had to do it all over again. It is also much cheaper.

Stihl SR 200 here. Holds just 2.5 gallons so have to fill it again to finish 4 mature plants. Works great and lighter to carry around then the bigger models.

Thanks guys. Keep me coming. Porkchop I was actually thinking eye droppers for that ultra precise placement. Instead of each leaf I’ll hit each bug individually. Either that or scaffolding all over above the patch. Lol. In all seriousness I’m considering using my pump sprayer and my leaf blower.

Stihl mist blower is the only way to go in my opinion.

Dan-- I just looked under my leaves and yeah i dont know about how he deals with his pest but i have little bugs here too and i think they are spreading blight already. Good luck glad you asked.

A Stihl SR 200 work great and takes a lot less time than the compression sprayers.

The Stihl SR200 is a godsend.
I got 1 last year and it makes a huge difference.
You can spray your plant from 10 feet away & it gets both the top & bottom of the leaves.
Compared to a pump sprayer, much better coverage in 1/3 of the time.

I goofed around with a small air compressor and an old auto paint sprayer gun, it would blow a super fine mist about 8 feet. You have to drag the hose around and move the compressor once in a while. With some fine-tuning, it may work great,a fine mist under the canopy is all you need.

Thanks for all the input. Found a used solo mist blower online. Going to look at it tonight, and fingers crossed it works ok and I bring it home. Its scary how excited I am to go buy a sprayer lol.
