I use 0.25 to 0.5 oz per gallon. I'd be interested to hear what rates others use.

I use 15 mL per 1000 square feet, roughly the equivalent of what Dan is applying.

1/4 oz per gallon up to 1/3 oz a gallon. The stronger versions for taking care of spidermites that make those annoying little lesions on the leaves. If the its to strong you can crisp up some of the leaves on your plant. Should be applied in the evening with no sunlight either. You can tank mix it with other pesticides fungicides if the others allow it to. Following the label is always best practice. Combine it with merit applications and most pests will be taken care of.

I have used 1/2 ounce of Talstar/Bifen per gallon along with 1/8th teaspoon of merit 75wsp per gallon of spray. I do this every 10 days from early June through mid August here in VT. It will burn leaves if you do it morning or during the day so I try to do after sunset. But compared to vine borers or cuke beetles, burning a couple of leaves is no big deal.

I use 2 to 3 ml with 1/8 teaspoon of merit but get some burn. I really wish I could find a bug spray that works without burning leaves. Please tell me what I can use as a contact spray that kills cucumber beatles and white flys without burning up my plants.
