Does anybody use Merit or Imidacloprid for squash bugs in there Pumpkin Patch and does it work?

It works to kill the babies not sure about adults.Ive used pyrethrins to kill the adults-talstar,warrior2

I find it make the adults a bit sick and they will move to the top of the plant but merit has to be used as a drench.

imidacloprid kills just about everything, ive used it as a contact and systemic

Same as rick I even use it when I spray for bugs around the house

Yes is does kill them, however I have found one still gets the dreaded Yellow Vine due to sucking on the plant. Need a two phase attack of pyrethrins like CoJoe mentioned. They dont like the smell so they go land on someone elses plants. Ive watched a cabbage moth try to land on the plant and they get close then freak out, and fly away...works well.

im with wizzy except they just dont care they are dieing here so they give me yellow vine then die anyways
