Is there a reason sides vines on one side of the plant are growing faster then the other side this is happening on several plants.

some sort of genetic flaw id presume.it does happen more now than years back.id guess from inbreeding etc, over the years. allow additional sides to grow and ride it out.you may be surprised come pickin time. pap

I’m experiencing the same on my two plants the are running north to south and south to north. I thought it was just the way the sun was hitting them.

I start early plants and notice this every yr. I run north to south and the vines on the east side are always shorter but they eventually catch up. One reason is the tree line about 150 feet away so they don't get really early sun.
