i have two plants ones cots turned a dull green slowly from the tip of the leaf to the part connecting it to the stem and now is completely shriveled up the other just got the dull color on the tip the thing is this seems very premature to me both of them don’t even have the first leaf fully grown I was wondering if this is bad and what’s it from I don’t think it’s from putting the in front of the real sun for a day because I had them in the shade but I did fertilize them with half strength seaweed humic/fulvic acids amino acids and silicon could this have cause it?

there'll be other comments, but i, myself do as little fertilizing and what-not as i can, amounting to only 1/2-strength Miracle-Gro 15-30-15 until the soil is saturated and then drained by whatever method works best (too lengthy to explain my method) like tipping the plant/peat pot sideways about once a week or as-needed; too bad about your situation, but let's just say that as long as the 1st true leaf looks OK, you should be OK. i would initially lay off anything but straight water and only show them the sun through the window until you are into the 2nd and 3rd true leaf stage, and whatever others think---eg

First leave problems are common: too much water, to harsh of ferts, too hot of bulbs etc
Now that 1949 looks funky with those dried up cots this early. Cots usually last a while and get uglier until they fall off, but those literally shriveled up. Might want to have a backup for that guy.

The daletes has sunburn. The other looks like you did a fert drench and splashed it on the cots without rinsing off afterward and it burnt them up.

The Daletas leaves look today just like the 1949 they feel dried up and probably are going to shrivel up in a couple days do you think if I do start another plant I will have enough time to get a big pumpkin

You will get a bigger pumpkin from a late start than you will from an empty patch. It has been a late spring, so everything is behind a little. If you have decent fall weather and a later weigh-off, you could still do OK/

You’ll be fine. I’m pretty sure there’s been people that start plants as late as June and still get over 1000. Plus you can keep these going and see how they do. Cot leaves make little difference as long as the real leaf hangs in there and the apex of what will be the vine didn’t get torched.
