Just curious...
I was thinking 6x25. Probably using the 1724 Schmit... 2 good ones up 1724 Schmit vs 1724 Schmit. Going to be very careful with the watering... applying precise amounts. I think I need to work on paying attention to the soil moisture and the water temperature.
Hopefully my entry $$ dont get lost in the mail... cutting it close!!!

Yes there are a few who are cutting it close. I sent emails this morning to those who's entry fees I haven't received yet.

Well with five 900 lbers last year I think folks are taking this kinda seriously this year and don’t want to give away any good ideas. That’s ok it’s still fun.
I had the base of my plant squeezed into a small corner last year. I think I’ll give it more room—I’m thinking three ft on all sides. Also thinking I will simply dead end the main at the pumpkin.
If you have any thoughts from years past or about your patch this year let’s hear em.

IMO this guy had the perfect layout for a tiny area. I see some 150 sq feet pics that are suspect size wise... this is legit (105 ft) and from 9 years ago.

Using the 1625 Gantner for the 150 SQFT Challenge and as a pollinator for the large competition plants. Vine pattern will be the mini-menorah with a twist.

A sketch of the planned vine pattern is in my diary:

@ pumpkinguru I don’t know why but i do like the idea of using one which would go heavy to chart...
