Hey guys I won a Brandt lot on a BP Auction on February 2nd. I still haven't received the seeds. I contacted them on March 2nd and again on March 26th. Both times they said there was a problem and they would get my seeds sent out. I contacted them again today April 10th because I still haven't received the seeds. I said if they couldn't send my seed they could refund my money. Do the auctions have some kind of guarantee or could I be out my money and seeds?

If they cant deliver what you bought, or an agreed upon alternative, I think they have to refund your money

I won a 2112 Skinner that night , sent my full mailing address in the confirmation email but not in the PP donation. After confirming what took place that night , got an email asking for my address which I promptly replied to. The response I got when I asked in an email on march 23 if they sent my seed yet was that because I did not put my mailing address in my donation that the seed was resold in their second auction. I was told in the reply email on March 29 that I was to get a refund. To date , nothing received. This auction had my full mailing address twice long before their second auction , even threw in an extra $10 for shipping that was not asked for. I still have all the emails to back me up.

Maybe it is just a coincidence that Eddy is from Canada, Caper is from Canada and I am from Canada.

BNot, I received the seeds I bought from auction. My point was seeds should have been delivered by now since it’s go time. I’m not even sure who Caper838 bought from, I’m just generalizing that they should have arrived if paid.

I think this club was very small. One of the (two or three?) guys had to move on short notice mailing seeds was probably not his top priority. I can’t speak to the issue of refunds, or if the seeds will be sent soon.

every club that runs a seed suction has a obligation to all other auction sites and the hobby in general.

what one does can effect the all others as well.

Let me chime in here really quick while we try and figure this out. Our next club meeting is this Saturday and i was hoping to address it with all the club members. We had a order that got sent to the wrong person. And a few that never got sent and were later resold the next auction. The problem wasn't us failing to send you the seeds the problem was we had people not follow the simple instruction that said we need all the information to be sent within the paypal note along with the email we gave. Confusion happened when We had a guy that had all the seeds that was doing the mailing that didn't have access to cross check both the email and the paypal and IF the paypal info did not match the address in the email problems occurred. He was going through some serious personal matters at the time and was doing all this from his phone. We sent out over 30+ bubble mailers the likely hood some got messed up was a possibility. The ones that for sure got messed up are the ones that had zero information or a different address in paypal.

We take full responsibility for these mistakes as this was our first auction. I was waiting to bring this to the club members so we figure out how to refund or send back money orders of the people that paid and did receive a seed. Thanks, I'll be spending some time today to make sure we figure this out. Really sorry.

Just issued 3 refunds -- of the orders that got mixed up 2 of them did not include any detailed information like the rules in the pdf mentioned so we know were to send the order (via paypal) The other order was shipped out and either made it to its destination or was lost in transits. IF anyone else had issues with our auction please email me @ oklahomagiants@gmail.com. Of the 30+ lots sent out you wont hear from the people that did get seeds and are happy, only the ones issues occurred. please forgive me as i tried my best to pick up the slack on the first auction.

Yes Pap, we remember Okie Gal and her shenanigans, she ran her scam for a few years, then got caught and outed. There have been others too over the years. I’m sure it’s not the case here, I don’t know the details.

100% not the case here, we have sent out every seed that we have been given save for maybe 3 lots, which we are currently trying to sell. we really thank this community for all the support, we have raised close to our goal, and have used those funds to get us officially part of the common wealth which was recently announced this week. In no way do we ever want to tarnish our name in this community. Thanks again for all that supported us.

What are the few lots you want to sell still... maybe a few growers out there still need some seeds (offer them first come first serve..?)

Our local club has a table at a “spring fair” here... maybe that’s an idea for that would help your club if there’s a spring agriculture fair in Oklahoma and want to grow your club.

I had issues getting thru to the e-mail address, made a post on the general discussion page about it. They posted the mailing address and I received my seeds in a short time afterwards. I hope this goes well for the others.
I also remember the Okie Girl scandal. Best to all. Good luck.
