looking for some advice and/or suggestions on how to incorporate your cover crop? mow? then till it? till it all? or only as plant grows? any suggestions would be appreciated, thks and grow a PB this year everyone? come on spring, hurry up!!!

I till mine directly under. If it’s growing great, sometimes I need to mow it shorter before tilling it in. We see no reason to spray it (kill it) before tilling it under, after all it’s called a “green manure”. Good luck this season.

If you kill it and let it dry then its organic matter, if its fresh then its green manure, that's my understanding.

You may have to mow, then till and then spot spray or till areas again. I've never been able to get a 100% on the first round. The Boys are spot on.
