The Patons start around the first week of April and most others start between the 10th and 20th of April.

Rumor has it is that Pugh guy might start something really early but again,,,, its all rumor for now.

I am planning on starting April 15th to April 22nd. It all depends on how it goes with the place that is going to bring in 60 cu yds for 2500 sq ft of amended top soil can get things done. Soil has to thaw, original recipe needs to mixed, soil test sent away, remixed with amendments. Hopefully by May 1st will have double topsoil depth that is super potent.

I’m staggering mine this year. An early plant for a local fair, then 3 or 4 others after that with the last ones going in outside last week of April or first weekend in May. I’m starting my Paton seeds when The the Patons start theirs...monkey see...monkey do.
