The Pumpkin Podcast

Hello everyone, Sam here from New Zealand, some people know me as the guy who paddled a pumpkin boat with Tim Harris in 2014 (Tim grew them, we were the first and still only people to paddle a pumpkin boat in NZ)

I have a website www.giantpumpkins.co.nz where I help out new growers here in NZ, and post what I am up to in what I have called the worlds smallest giant pumpkin patch (around 40 sq feet of soil if you were wondering)

I'm the current president of The Great Pumpkin Carnival here in Hamilton, NZ. The only GPC weigh off site in New Zealand.

That's enough about me. I've decided to make a new podcast, The Pumpkin Podcast www.thepumpkinpodcast.com

I want to to talk to pumpkin growers from around the world. I want to hear their stories, tips and anything else they want to cover, and I want to share it with you.

Podcasts are great because they are free to listen to, you can listen to them either on your phone or computer. And podcasts let you multitask while listening.

Will you be discussing topics like science and such as?,..I believe there is a world record carrot grower that is an expert on this very topic ....many of us would love to hear that podcast ...thank you in adavce...

Hi Porkchop, I'm hoping to have conversations with experts in all areas, as well as episodes dedicated to a specific topic with feedback from different guests.

I'm open to any suggestions, and want to bring value to the listener both when the episode comes out and for anyone listening in the future.
