Wondering if any grower have use rabbit manure for pumpkins. They say it can not get to hot for plants and you can use alot. It is said to be a cold manure.

I have used it in the past,it is hard to find enough in my area to really make a difference.I do know when I used it that it seemed not to break down well after being tilled in.I would suggest composting it for at least a year before using it,so it will break down all the way.

I have access to a very large quantity of rabbit manure. There has been some straw and wood shavings bedding mixed with it along with small quantities of goat and duck manure. Most of it has been sitting outside for a year. How much can be safely added to 6,000 sq ft? 500 lbs...1,000 lbs...2,000 lbs? My worms will be happy but will my plants be happy? I heard a MN grower uses rabbit manure and has great success with it.
