It has been awhile since I made my own labels for the seed requests. What is the best site out there that anyone is using these days.

We used Avery "Print and Create". It's FREE...

I just get the sheets of 30 sticker labels. MS Word should have the template for whatever Avery # you use (I think 5160 is the most popular), and I run them off as needed.

I will say, if you do not want a picture on the labels making them at home is easier. I have always had formatting issues because I like to add a picture to the label. Ordering them from Vista Print made adding a photo much simpler than it was on my personal computer.

If I can make my own labels using Avery "Print and Create" YOU can, too--with a picture! I'm a fossil when it comes to computer stuff. Just be prepared to make some mistakes while you're learning.

Thanks for the replies. I have used the Avery in the past. I have tried to attach a photo to them and they seemed to come out quite small. I will play around with it again.

You will need to crop the pic, and one can stretch it to take advantage of all space on the label. One you do one, you can use the template for other labels changing pertinent info and pic just saving as a different name.

I use a Dymo Label Writer. It will print one label or 100s.

What are you looking to accomplish? There is no wrong answer. Like Andy stated, minus the cost of labels, you can print your own for free. The weight, the cross, budda bing Bob's your uncle. Maybe you want to share a pic to show the world your prize beauty. I went to Staples with a thumb drive depicting my gorgeous fruit. 15 minutes and $30 I'm out the door with 200 labels. I'm happy, but that's what I was looking for.
