I have a few times in the past, but do not anymore since I don’t belong to any clubs. Most of the time I don’t even know who the acronyms represent or the club that is having the auction. I’d gladly support Midwest or southern clubs if the names were posted in the subject line. I see some are in the first paragraph of the initial lot.

Example, who is SESDGPG, BHGPG, MAGPG or UMGPG?

SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA GIANT PUMPKIN SESDGPG
Black Hills Giant Pumpkin Growers, BHGPG
Mid-Atlantic Giant Pumpkin Growers MAGPG
Upper Midwest Giant Pumpkin Growers UMGPG

Luke, KGPG stands for Kentucky Giant Pumpkin Growers...originally started as KPM (Kentucky Pumpkin Mafia)!! LOL Now that YOU know who WE are? I hope you visit our seed auction!! Peace, Wayne
Approx. 10 years ago we started KPM w/AG's, and now our weighoff site seems to be bringing in the CC Slunger Melons!!! One of the largest CC Watermelon weighoff sites, anywhere!! Might be something you can grow in Mizzou?

I understand that with some searching I could figure out the acronym, but I'm not doing that for over 20 clubs when it can usually just be posted in the subject. And noted Wayne, I'm happy to support all border state clubs.

You and Ron both have been extremely kind to me over the years giving me products and seeds to grow! Thank you both so much for helping me :)

Luke, after seeing your passion for growing for several years, I would offer you an alternative plan!!! Grow melons!!! Your (semi-shaded) growing area looks almost perfect for it. Your climate zone is almost perfect! & you have the passion, & the fishing techniques down to a science, so you could learn how to make the perfect graft to grow a 400# CC Watermelon!!! If you want, I have a couple of great CC seeds that I can send you!!! & then, next year I can pick you on my team!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
