Hello All,
Jim Kuhn has been placed in the Hillsborough County Nursing home 400 Mast Road, Goffstown NH for several weeks now. It appears he may be there for some time. I visited with him yesterday and he welcomes any company or cards he can get. He had a few more lapses with mild strokes and is very forgetful and requires assistance. He will know who you are and engage in conversation, bring him a book, photo or anything pertaining to giant pumpkins and he will be grateful, it's a lonely place to be.
He was there for us when we all started this fun hobby!
thanks,
Jim B

Hi Jim wow I don’t know what to say I always felt Jim , and your self took us all in as family . Every weigh off I would go to enjoyed the hell out of you MC Ing . And Jim checking the bottoms . How about the times we would go over to help him get his pumpkins out of his patch. I hated that lol I went from FIRST to what ever . Jim Kuhn is what growing giant pumpkins has always been about. Thanks Jim B for the update

Jim Kuhn is a great guy, who always made me laugh/smile. We really missed seeing him at the seminar in Niagara Falls. That is where we met Jim many, many years ago. When we were in NH, he welcomed us into his home, showing us his famous patch & his impressive seed collection. Of course we left with some of his best honey. Great memories. Card will be sent out soon. Thanks for the address & update Jim.

I wish you all the best Jim. Jim is a classic character with a matching sense of humor. I wish the nursing home staff all the best also:)

Thanks for the heads up Jim B. My wife and I were lucky enough to meet Jim at Niagra several years ago. My Dad and I traded seeds with him since I can remember. Was just looking through some of his old letters last night. Great guy and very generous. Mailing today. Steve and Sheri Handy
