The cost of a raffle ticket will be $10.00
Some of the already committed seeds and product are:

Eddy how do I purchase a raffle ticket? And is it one ticket equal chances or buy more tickets more chances? :)

Good question! Is there a limit for tickets per grower or buy as many as you like?

We are still in the planning stage but will try and answer all questions
Peace and Donkin We did think about limiting the number of tickets per person and will probably do that, final answer to the exact number will come later.
We will make tickets available through Paypal to the GPC directly.
Peace we could possibly be able to be in a chat room on BP.

Tickets will become available once we have our complete line up and we are shooting for the first week of January to go live with the raffle. Between the posts already here and the several emails I received we will make this available to everyone

Pay Pal doe not allow raffles

Actually Mark, Private individuals are not allowed to use PayPal for raffles and contests because there have been so many fraudulent contests in the past. Since the GPC is a registered entity in the US and have a Board of Directors, there is no issue at all with the GPC using PayPal for Raffles and contests
here is the Paypal contact Phone number if you would like to check for yourself 1 402 935 2050

Just want to put this out there, As much as I appreciate the recognition for this raffle, I have to tell you this raffle is due to a post by Gene McMullen about his seed being a postage seed.
It was pretty cool reading that and understanding what his great seed meant to him.

Now this is why I love 99.75 percent of the people associated with Big Pumpkins and pumpkins in general. I received an email this morning with the heading "2145 for the cause"
in the body of the email it said "Gene sent me 2 of the 2145's and I grew one and I will donate the other back to the cause. I would love to see this seed as the anchor for next years raffle rather than put 2 up this year.

Now that's cool, and for sure will do as asked

Thanks again for the post Gene McMullen

Great to hear Eddy, It's those fine growers that put more in than they take out that keeps this sport and its future bright and growing forward.

Iceman, great post 99.75% make growing pumpkins a hobby, other .25% see it as a money making business.
