Greetings!
I am in the process of creating additional pages for pumpkinfanatic and just created a new one. If you navigate to the page located here: http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/GrowerGrowsHeavy.php, you will see pumpkin growers who have grown pumpkins that are heavy to the chart over the past five years.

This page contains two tabs located towards the top, North America and Growers. I find that the North America tab particular interesting since there are several good growers in Colorado and in particular, cojoe. I know he grows very large pumpkins each year within the Rocky Mountain region, but they usually go light to the chart.

If you click on the growers tab, you can see growers who are consistently weighing heavy pumpkins to the chart.

I apologize to our grower friends located outside of North America, but updates for them will be coming soon!

Pfan, I don't get it. John & James VanHook are producing pkns year after year after year, that go in the teens OTC, and I did not see them on the list? Did I miss something? Peace, Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I'm glad you are checking out the site. The growers who are listed meet the following requirements:

Growers who grew at least 5 pumpkins, each weighing over 1000 pounds and they weighed heavy to the chart within the years 2017, 2016,2015,2014,2013

Even if I combine these two individuals, they have 3 that meet the critieria I used. Hope that answers your question.

Fanatic, I certainly appreciate your hard work...I will email John & ask how many massive otc pkns he has produced over 1K & well over the charts since 2013! Hoping that John's input can get him & James onto the list!!! LOL Peace, Wayne Sorta thinking he had 2 or three this year! Over 1K# and very heavy to chart (in the teens) & he is going to Seminar to collect his jacket!

I figured out why our pumpkins didn't all so up! My last name is two separate words on some entrys it's VanHook as one word one the pumpkinfanaic page

So I am guessing that PknFan is now PknFrantic, trying to realize that John Van Sand Bagus is the KING of % OTC!!! All in good fun! But, I can't wait to see the new results!! Thanks Captain Hook!!!

My bad, way bad...some, if not most, or maybe all of these results should show up as John & James VanHook! PS...John & James...I can only do my job properly if you provide proper statistical information...which you seem to be doing!!! Fee's this year are just a couple of the 1594's!!! Hi John,

Please let me know how the results should show. Do you want John & James and anything linked to either name with a last name of Van Hook and lives in KY be updated to just John? Happy to change it so they are all showing however you want.

PFan, so neat that you are doing, due dilligence to update this list to it's proper quality!! Can't wait to see the updated list!! Please let us all know when the new list is posted!!!
PS...John does not come on BP very often, but I would take a leap of faith & think that he wants all VanHook, or Van Hook records to be listed as John & James!!! They are true brothers!!!
