I know seed size has nothing to do with pumpkin size but the seeds from my 668 uow House 2017 ( 1317 Clementz x 1385.6 H/J) are the biggest I have ever harvested. a lot of them are over .9 gram and some even went over 1 gram. Generally happy if I get them to be .75 gram.

There is a lot of variability in the weight of the seed coat. And the seed coat traits are heritable traits which I think are independent from any other plant or pumpkin traits. It would be nice if we could tell anything at all from the seed since that would be the first and easiest thing we could do...

Are there any seed/plant/pumpkin correlations?

I have some seeds from a pumpkin I grew that had great genetics. The seeds look very viable but I have not been able to germinate a single one of them. So you can never tell what you have until you prove it to your self. Try them n t year. And good luck.
