Can anyone involved with club seed collections put their requests for our seeds in sooner rather than later. We have to send them to Eddy in Canada and we can only do one box which I would like to go before Christmas.

You surely can go that route Bubba, No difference at all to me, But understand you will not be able to drive across and get them unless you have a Pyto and that will take between 2 to 3 weeks once you get them into the inspection process. If you choose not to declare them, and they get confiscated, they will be destroyed.
Although the Law is under review and scheduled for a change, we don't know when that will take place. Also with the new Boarder rules in place(which includes all travelers including US citizens) inspections have been much more strict. I can send you a Pyto from previous shipments if you like, so if choose that route, it will give you a head start on where to go and the forms required.

You can also check with Bart as he has done paper work for this process from the US side if that helps

So Mark, Not sure how you can say I cost you 10,000.00. Not sure how you can call proof, Slander. I have no ill will to you Mark, your a good grower and congrats on making the 1 ton club, its a true accomplishment.

As for you saying I did this to Joel, well you couldn't be farther from the truth. I have very much respect for Joel and May Lou. They and I have never had issue, I have bought Joel's product and used it.
Also a little story you should hear. Back several years ago, I was actively looking for a 567 Mombert. Yep the Holy grail of pumpkins and Orange, After several tries and several Dead Ends, I received a bubble in the mail, It was from the Hollands, inside was a 567 Mombert, and a note saying, heard you were looking for this seed, Good Luck, Signed Joel and Mary Lou.
On another instance, I pulled out my Wizzer sprinklers and most cracked in the winter, and of course I only pulled them out when I need them, anyway I sent the Hollands an email, They expedited the shipping for me just so I had them. Also I believe they were in the mail before I even paid for them.
As of late. The last time I seen Joel and Mary Lou was at Puyallap weigh off where I took a pumpkin to the there. Actually my pumpkin was grown from your 1317 Mark. Again shook Joels hand Mary Lou gave me a hug, they we talked for a while, and then they congratulated me on second place and they took first with an awesome pumpkin. I actually was very happy for them being #1 in the world, It's awesome to see. The Hollands go back so many years in this great hobby of ours.
As for the Snake Analogy , Mark. The Black mamba is and always be my favorite. I have been the proud Sponsor of one for years at a local Reptile display. I love snakes, hence the Black Mamba Tattoo I got on my right fore arm

Make that more clear only half my seeds arrived there was a hole in my bubble . I inquired as to why there was a hole in my bubble and they could've possibly falling out into the box with the other seeds I was immediately ostracized. Put on the defense. Very fishy very very fishy

I am a small fish in the sea that is giant pumpkin growing and wouldn't normally get involved in something like this. But, as Mark requested, I went back and read the top of the post. Here's what I see, Eddy said he could/would help if Mark ran into problems, Mark responded with attack (I realized later that that is what it was), Eddy again offered help if needed, Mark then went into full attack mode. I vaguely remember everything else brought up by Mark. Mark, my suggestion to you would be to forgive and move on, notice I didn't say forget. People will forget in time...unless you keep bringing it up. You state that you don't need us growers, I beg to differ, you sell a product to grow giant vegetables. New growers will use what the heavy hitters use. If that's your product, great, if not, then so be it. You strike me as a person who looks at money as success, the more you have, the more successful you are. (that comes from personal experience). Success to me is stepping above the nay sayers and proving them wrong, being the bigger person.
My apologies to Ian and Ken for this post turning in the direction it has.

Wolf3080, I agree with you, and the particularly sad thing about this thread here is that it was started by someone who (like so many other friendly and well-respected growers) is happy to share seeds with anyone who´s asking (which is something really awesome about this hobby), but most of the comments in this thread are coming from an entirely different mind (http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=284681), it´s like two different worlds (in my opinion).

Mark, So it's has now become not only directed at Eddy, but directed at the rest of us growers. Calling us narrow minded etc. Last year was my first year as a grower and first year as a BP follower and also following you. I' watched your videos and admired you as a grower and teacher. You have in one thread wiped that all away. You claim you didn't start this in your first post. It's my opinion this is exactly what you intended. You expected Eddy to respond, what you didn't expect was for him to respond in a professional manner, so you pushed it further. Now you got responses from fellow growers, and then want to shame us. This is so sad to see. Eddy is the most generous person I have ever met. He is not in this for money. He is in this for enjoyment and he enjoys helping other growers. I have seen him open his wallet and give young growers money so they could get good seeds. Once I saw him win a $400.00 seed in a live auction at Niagara. He walked up to the table paid cash for the seed. On his way back to his chair he gave the seed to Howard Dill. Eddy has given seeds to many growers myself included. When the GPC lost it’s corporate sponsor Eddy stepped up to take their place. What this hobby needs is more people like Eddy. People who are in this for fun and enjoyment who are willing to help other growers free of charge with no strings attached!
