If you grew a pumpkin any size & made to a scale? You are a winner in my book. You beat the bugs. You beat the weather. You beat disease.I remember a year I lost every kin to disease.Actually I can remember more then 1 year that happened. The few the proud The Pumpkin head people.lol Now go have fun at the events you deserve it.The next person who calls and says "So & so got beat up pretty bad they took 2nd" I will drive to your house & puke on your porch.lol If your going to be turd go lay in the yard.We all worked hard on our personal best bucko. Now get a new attitude & join the winners!! Have fun to all!!

This was my second year growing, last year I killed both my plants. This year I lost 2 plants to disease and got a late pollination to get one to a weigh-off, only 290 lbs, but it's better than nothing

Had a blast lost my plants on July 23 to a hail and 60mile an hr winds. Had one hold on long enough to take it to the county fair in September. Weighed in at 620 not bad for my first year. I learned a lot and my wife got me 50% shade cloth 20x100ft. So I am ready to go next year.

The smallest I ever entered weighed was 171 lbs. Sadly it was my "best" that year but I still had fun at the weigh-off.
