What are u guessing is eating your pumpkin?? Or do you know.. Makes me want to put up a fence around mine.. Sorry this happened to such a beautiful pumpkin.. I know you got a lot of time in her.

Looks like deer to me. We use electric fence.

Well, I have a heavy duty electric fence, but the deer have been jumping it lately to get to my fresh buckwheat cover crop. At first I thought it was a deer, but after getting home, it's more like a groundhog on this one.
I turned the fence off for a party on September 30, and looks like I forgot to turn it back on... so at the end of the day I can only blame myself.
They only ever eat the pretty ones. 5 fruit in two patches and she's the only one who got hit. Still proud of her, just gotta make the old back of the pumpkin the new front of the pumpkin... one of the advantages of a Cinderella =p

Ground hog for sure, you can see the two distinct rodent teeth. Sorry to see this after all the work you put into it.
