Ah man that's a bummer. Losing both of your pumpkins this year must be pretty frustrating.

That's a very frustrating way to lose a pumpkin. The ones that go down from the inside. Don't beat yourself up over it. You can run in circles trying to figure out what happened.

Henry young man don't give up. Here is where I stand this year. Planted 8 plants. I have had four blossom end cracks on four pumpkins. One over 1,700 two others went at 1,300 5 weeks ago and one went at day 35 doing 40 a day with no stump and three cut secondaries and taped 700 plus. My fifth plant would not take a set and I gave up and pulled the plant. My sixth stopped growing three weeks ago and rotted at the stem. I have two good ones left, will they make it I hope so?!!! Hang in their the fruits of your labor will reward you many years to come with some disappointment along the way. It will make you a better grower and it will make you appreciate the ones that hold together that you do get to the scale. I feel your pain, better seasons will come.

Sorry to hear Hank, but you did an incredible job. That would have also been an HD contender just about anywhere.

It happens to us all, don't let this stop you. GO out and start prepping for next year. Shed a few tears, and sweat the rest out.

Sorry bud, Hate to lose the pumpkin and seeds this time of the year. You are now a known grower and proved you can grow a monster pumpkin. Should be proud of that.
