We have had some cooler weather in this area even got hit with frost a week ago. I've been covering the plants with tarps plus blankets over the pumpkins. We are getting beautiful days up to 75 with lots of sun. Pumpkins are cold and I've been letting them soak up the sun to warm up. They warm up nicely. pumpkins are all over 500 lbs and still have 4 weeks til weigh off. Is this too early to be giving them full sun or should I still be shading during the day?

I would give them a little direct sun in the morning and then put a white sheet over them during the day. In the evening put the blankets on them.
