I'm impressed with the 2624 offspring for size and color in a couple diaries. Anyone wanna add their two cents?

Not growing either myself can't add any knowledge to the discussion!

I have both the 2145 and 2624 going. 2145 tapes 1175, 2624 tapes 1030. Both are orange but the shape of each is vastly different. 2145 plant has been very agressive while the 2624 just did its own thing.

I would grow either of them again if I got the chance.

Also I pollinated my 2624 with the 2145.

Ive got a 2624.5 Belgian guy in. Giant plant ,which was a baby huey looking seedling ,so I gave it my best spot and spent the most time with pruning etc.The pumpkin is growing like a snail(14.5 feet out on main).Welcome to giant pumpkin growing-every seed is a flip of the dice.I think the odds are better with the 2145 as there have been quite a few slow/weird 2624 offspring.Question is what will the 2624 do second generation-definitely worth a shot

Got both going, pollinated the 2145 with 2624, that surpassed my personal best of 1277 awhile ago. And doesn't seem to want to slow down. 2624 pollinated with 2261, ugly orange pumpkin my most plant issues, hoping it was a great pollinator

Wish I was set up to grow big but it didn't happen this year. But it's still interesting to me to see the results other folks are getting. There is the reverse of the 2624 also I'll have to check and see who is growing that one...
