Deal With It

I need 60 unique respondents.

If you vote with a simple majority of 31-29 against me, I will never bring anything that I grow to a GPC event, for the rest of my life.

Let's start the tally!

What are you trying todo here? The gpc is the only one that cares about state records in our state if it was not for the gpc nobody in Oklahoma would care about the size of your pumpkin nobody would care if you broke the state record yeah that's cool. But the gpc is the only one that acknowledges it.

Shoot we can't even enter pumpkins in the state fair. They only do 4-H and they don't weigh them at your county fair. The state and the county don't care. I think Oklahoma needs a GPC event.

If you think you're fooling me, think again.

Current tally is 1-0 against me.

Let's keep the votes coming!

Go weigh your pumpkin and have fun with it, if you break the OK record, kudos. The majority of people on this site could give two shits what you do with your fruit or how/where you weigh it. I'm only responding because you're taking aim at a free website and governing body that helps this hobby, even if it doesn't help you.
Do what you want, I don't understand why you need so much attention.

Nah, he's a grower that needs attention to feel success. Trolls wouldn't know the hobby.

I don't care who does or does not compete at a GPC event. Consider my vote an abstention.

Claremoron, Bring your pumpkin to our weighoff at Krause Berry Farm and Estate winery in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, and we would be happy to receive you, welcome you and weigh your pumpkin. Heck we'll cheer you on to a State Record and recognize your efforts and you might even walk away with a plaque or a rosette ribbon and some Canuck money in your jeans. Oh...we are a GPC event, so no previously weighed pumpkins allowed.

I'm so glad that I'm making enemies.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Can't vote sorry don't get the issue is but not a lot of friendship lately on here it's good people can express themselves freely and the rest of us can try to figure out what the issue is maybe you could clarify? I think people like to help I see it all the time on here. anyhow am I jumping on your thread too much to say does anyone have advice on where this guy should take his pumpkin...?

In this Hobby you are contributing, and competing against yourself, and the great group of growers around you. I think it is time you step away from Big Pumpkins and your pumpkin patch and reflect on what you truly want.

So you can take your pumpkin to the county fair as long as they don't weigh it and then you can take it to a GPC event?

Baker's man-....I could cut mine and weigh it...I could advertise and take it to the center of town for a weighing party...display it for a week...then bring it to the zoos pumpkin display...I could bring to the state fair...they can weigh it...still good.,.heres where it might get tricky ...if you win money at the fair it's a contest...that ones easy...what about a ribbon?...(sounds like yer coming second)...that's a contest...i take the rule as no previous contests...bring it to the fair and tell them it's just for display..then shock us all with 20% heavy to beat c-goose...either way, best of luck to you both...we are too busy to care that much

It's just a question. If you're too busy then why are you making a long thread like that I'm just asking a question so I know the rules. I knew my first year try to go to GPC way off and I don't want to break any rules to get disqualified.

Because I care enough to make sure your clear in the rules...and have a good experience...just don't care enough about the original three sets of separate posts about the same dam question ...a little "meth headish" if Ya ask me...lol

Ok cool. I would win my county fair. Don't have one big enough to drive 8hr. To the closest weigh off. It's only 650 to 700.
